Hello! My name is John and I am a software engineer who has worked mainly on web applications and other distributed systems. Since July of 2022, I have worked at Noloco, a start-up helping non-developers build internal tools. My past employers include Impala Tripadvisor, MIT, Wayfair, and a messaging startup.
I graduated from Tufts University in 2018 with a degree in History, English, and Computer Science. While I was an undergraduate, I was a teaching assistant for Web Programming (for seven semesters!) and for Computer Security. I also wrote my honors thesis about the extent to which chivalry influenced the conduct of medieval knights in matters of love and war.
